Carolyn Ball loves to be of service.

Starting out almost 30 years ago as a public school art teacher, Carolyn gradually shifted her focus to counseling. For twenty years she helped teens and adults with emotional problems and addictions, in addition to teaching workshops and seminars. She has written two books, and currently writes for Transitions and GS Magazines.

Carolyn’s family hails from the Northeast, but she has been a Southerner for most of her adult life, living in Houston, TX, and Asheville, NC. Carolyn often vacationed in Myrtle Beach, and as her trips became more frequent, she fell in love with this beautiful area, with its well-cared for homes, friendly people, and the gorgeous weather the Grand Strand had to offer.

Carolyn grew up in a family that enjoyed restoring old homes together, and during her years in Asheville she began acting as her own contractor, coordinated crews to make improvements to properties, and giving new life and beauty to neglected homes. Since become a realtor five years ago, she has continued sharing her love of homes and houses with her clients.

Carolyn is an avid hiker, gardener, and ballroom dancer. Her idea of fun is bringing beauty, quality, and happiness to life – in whatever arena.
